So, if you are an advanced user and want to buy the Galaxy S10 or S10+ then follow this guide. Now, you may ask –

What’s the Bootloader and Why to Unlock it?

A Bootloader is a small program which is started from the Master Boot Record (MBR) of a hard disk, floppy disk, CD/DVD or another storage device. Often, bootloaders allow the user to select between several different operating systems, and choose which one to boot. This feature is called multi-booting (or dual-booting).

A locked or unlocked bootloader is what gives you access to root. Root is another main thing for Android. If you root a device, it means you have superuser access or administrator access to the operating system that runs on your phone.

  1. You’re article makes it sound as if the SD855 versions can be bootloader unlocked as well. Last I knew, none of the US versions could be bootloader unlocked. Did you just forget to include that disclaimer? Or do they all offer it now?

I mean there is a petition to make it so that all bootloaders are unlockable by design, http://chng.it/5BxsjrvXTk , so I figured they were still locked.
